Hello, I am Amy and I am part of the Enable family. I started working full time at Enable in July 2014, after volunteering for two months. I worked in retail at the time, but knew that my heart had always been with individuals with disabilities, so it seemed only right to explore this avenue.

From a very young age I have had a lot of personal experience with disabilities and learning difficulties, I was brought up to support my family members, who have learning difficulties, so I am very fortunate to have a great understanding and knowledge of working with disabilities. Through school work experience, taken at Enable, I never forgot the joy and satisfaction I had felt there and made myself a promise to return one day, so you can imagine the excitement I had when I got offered a full time position.

I absolutely adore my learners and feel very blessed that I get to spend all week with these amazing individuals. I take so much pride in the relationships I have developed with the learners, as they all have a very special place in my heart
