My name is Joanne I started at Enable in 2007, and throughout my years working here I have worked in all areas at Enable. 

 

For many years, alongside working at Enable, i worked as a passenger assistant on Sheffield City Council’s door to door bus services. Meeting so many different disabled people, with so many different disabilities and getting to know their needs put me in a good position when the job arose at Enable. It has given me so much pleasure over the years working with all the different learners that come through our doors.

 

It is very rewarding knowing that I make a difference in our learners lives, just helping one learner learn one new skill is so gratifying.
