Hi I’m Paul and I run the computer area at Enable. I joined Enable in 2006 and have, over the years, tried to get the learners using the computers to better their lives by trying to give them a few basic IT Skills. Getting them to try a little bit of typing to help with the learning of letters and numbers or using the internet to find out things about their favourite things.

Before starting at Enable I had a background in the more technical side of working with computers, but thought I needed more of a challenge and a bit of a career change. Having two children with ADHD and Autism I had lots of hands on experience of interacting and dealing with individuals with disabilities and thought it might be a career path that I would thrive at. Since starting all those years ago the learners have become like an extended part of my family and still get a great deal of job satisfaction from interacting with them.
