Hi, my name is Rob. Initially I started out at Enable as a volunteer in 2016. Helping out two days a week, I immediately fell in love with the place and wanted to keep attending whenever possible. Away from Enable i worked as a community support worker within a small family based care company. I was responsible for caring for over a dozen clients in and around Sheffield. In late 2018, I was offered a full time position at Enable, which I accepted without hesitation.

 

Since joining full time, I have been trained in all areas, so I can adequately cover any area or any member of staff whenever required. This means that my job is unique within the company, as I’m frequently working with all of our great learners in all of our different areas. So I have a very exciting and varied role. One day I could be covering the Computer area, whilst on another day, I could be covering in the Dining area where I have to cook everyone’s lunches. It’s a great role which I thoroughly enjoy.

 

It’s an absolute pleasure to work for such a great company and to work with all of our great learners, and they have all had such a huge and positive impact upon my life. Hopefully, I will be part of the Enable family for many more years to come.
